Bio
I have loved art and have had a fascination with nature since I was very young. As a child, I would spend hours coloring, drawing, and working on paint-by-number kits. In college, I didn't take any art classes due to the common perception that it meant becoming a "starving artist". My desire to draw was still strong, however, so I majored in drafting and technical drawing.
In the mid-1990s, I took up oil painting and discovered that it was a great way to enjoy both art and nature. A few years later, I began also painting with acrylics.
When I discovered the “Complete Drawing Certificate Course” by Cindy Wider, I was so impressed with the curriculum and method of learning that I decided to take my skills to the next level. I studied with Cindy personally and became a certified instructor for the Cindy Wider Method “Complete Drawing Certificate Course”.
I currently live in Nashville, Tennessee area.
